Designed for progressive producers, veterinarians, and technicians, this course offers two distinct pathways: immersive, hands-on training live on-site in Jonesboro, or a comprehensive virtual livestream track for remote audit. All practical sessions use synchronized donor and recipient animals managed by SMART Reproduction to maximize efficiency with live animals.
We provide all essential clinic supplies and consumables. Students are encouraged to bring their preferred personal AI kits or laparoscopic equipment, but a full suite of specialized tools will be available, along with expert vendor and sourcing recommendations to outfit your home lab.

Duration: 1 Full Day

Curriculum: A deep dive into the non-surgical caprine TC-AI workflow. Focuses on advanced synchronization protocols, proper restraint techniques, liquid nitrogen tank management, semen handling, and physical catheter manipulation for maximum conception rates. 

Wednesday, Dec 30th – Thursday, Dec 31st | Laparoscopic AI (Sheep & Goats)

Duration: 1.5 Days (Full day Wednesday, half-day Thursday)

Curriculum: Comprehensive hands-on instruction in standard Lap-AI. Covers everything from surgical theater setup and patient preparation to precise intrauterine deposition, with extensive, guided repetitions to build muscle memory.

Curriculum: Our flagship advanced module. Learn non-surgical flushing techniques, embryo recovery, searching under the microscope, and standardized IETS-style morphological grading. Thursday, Jan 7th – Friday, Jan 8th | LOPU: Laparoscopic Oocyte Pick-Up (Sheep & Goats)

Duration: 1.5 Days (Full day Thursday, half-day Friday)

Curriculum: Elite-level training in advanced follicular aspiration for IVF. Instruction includes donor preparation, ovarian mapping, follicle aspiration mechanics, and proper oocyte handling and maturation prep before laboratory transport.

We will provide supplies for hands-on participants; however, we highly recommend bringing your own artificial insemination kits, surgical tools, and/or collection supplies. Below, you will find curated kits available for purchase if you wish to use your own during the training. These kits will be yours to take back to your farm or clinic after the training concludes.     Our complete goat A.I. kit comes outfitted with all the equipment you need to start inseminating with straws.
